I turned and saw the monster!
"And when will he be back?" I replied, seemingly losing consciousness.
Now I find myself in a room unfamiliar to me, but a perfectly normal bedroom, even with a fireplace and a gently crackling fire. My things are here, including my pistol. It's evening outside, and I'm writing down my observations. I think I should get out of here and see where I actually am. I don't think I'm a prisoner...
The monster I saw was more humanoid, but its skin and face resembled a crocodile's. I didn't get a good look - well, I didn't have time - but I think it was wearing a cloak and had long hair the color of autumn leaves. Maybe it was a woman's voice, or maybe it was something about it's appearance, but I think it was a woman.
69th day of journey
The drawing below is the figure described on this day in the diary. The description is, of course, very sparse, but I know descriptions of the following days, which allow me to form somewhat more precise images. Since the diary contains no more detailed drawings, it's safe to assume this figure might have looked completely different.
