House of Moth

Today we followed our route as planned, and although the group remained relatively quiet, I did manage to hear a few things from my companions. At first, I only managed to ask about an animal or plant from time to time.

Over time, we began to talk more. At one point, as we walked along the river, the cook began to tell a legend: "Among the shadows of the jungle, where every step is a risk, a hero wanders, searching for the way," the cook said, gazing into the distance as if he saw something I couldn't. "His journey is not only a struggle against obstacles but also a test of strength against nature, which always demands attention. Amidst trees and rivers, where water and land become unpredictable, he discovers that the jungle is not just an obstacle but also a message. Every difficulty - from a snakebite to a swamp - becomes a step towards understanding the secrets of nature."

I stopped, looking at him. I didn't know if this was just his story or something more. But the cook continued: "As he continues his journey, he encounters predators that are not only threats but also symbols of mystery. The jaguar, moving through the darkness, becomes a feeling that life is full of unpredictability, and that every moment can be crucial. Then he begins to notice that the jungle is not just a space, but also a collection of spirits that remind him that man is part of a greater whole.

During his journey, he begins to experience hallucinations that are not just the result of fatigue, but messages. The wind whispers, the trees resemble shadows, and voices in the darkness remind him that life has its own rhythm. These are the moments in which he understands that the jungle not only tests his strength but also reminds him that time flows like water, and memory is the key to the future.

As the journey progresses, he begins to recognize that the jungle is not only a message, but also a fire that never dies. Every obstacle, every fear, and every moment of doubt becomes part of a fire that will not be extinguished until he understands that his path is not It ends in the jungle, but within oneself. It's a fire that reminds us that life is not just about survival, but also about discovery."

I noticed that not only was I listening to this story, but that virtually everyone within earshot was trying to get closer and listen. I found this story surprisingly understandable, considering that we were both speaking non-native languages. After the story ended, everyone was immersed in their own thoughts. I, although I don't consider myself particularly spiritual, noticed that I began to analyze my experiences as a journey through the jungle and my own flame of experience.

The day ended similarly – dinner and bed. This time, however, we sat by the fire a little longer, taking advantage of the good weather. And although there weren't many more conversations than yesterday, I was slowly starting to feel like part of the group.
